Artist Led, Nature Inspired
ResGuide was created in Asheville, NC. As Artists, Musicians, and Sound Designers ourselves, we started creating tools that connected physical interaction with newer and more accessible digital sound design tools. We have always been our own customers while creating tools that we use in our own artistic expression.
Our goal is to bring your music to life. Giving natural inflection to digital synthesis is a huge step for us as artists. This not only increases the possibilities of sound, but makes things sound more like you. Artists will be able to get a certain rhythm and tone with our tools that is completely unique.
Meet the Developer
I am Connor Golden. I am the guy that planted the seeds of Skym and I am looking forward to seeing how all of you will grow the idea beyond what I thought was possible.
My #1 purpose here is to serve artists. In the hands of an artist, expressive instruments turns into storytelling. I imagine a world where artists can scroll through sounds and rather than have one possibility, each option is a whole world of possibilities. Each option invites the artist to come play and explore and do things that others would never have tried.
I think that natural human intuition is the most powerful element of music and our intuition with music and sound can be expanded if we are given the means to do so. This is what I am here to do for you!
